Vulnerability is a really sweet sentiment that has grown beyond recognition in certain groups that use “doing the work” as their headline. Which before I saw it for what it was, I could see it as a sweet sentiment that would bring you a conscious partner who would meet your every need as long as you were doing this work.

Years later, as in today, I realized vulnerability doesn’t necessarily feel good. It can, but for today, it had me in a grief spiral.

I’m reading a few books right now that have created a sort of rift in my heart and mind about myself over the years. Although I am extremely proud of myself, I am going to be vulnerable with you because this is a necessary part of my story. I will list the books below, too.

A friend and I were talking about bridges. How in the social media world we see people selling a digital product that guarantees the same outcome they got which is usually a beautiful, conscious marriage, a shit load of money, and/or all of your manifestations coming true. They give us the steps in a really expensive product and we flop. Not because we didn’t follow the steps, but because we aren’t them. We forget that.

In the world of energetics where I live, I couldn’t help but wonder this one thing:

What part of their story aren’t they telling?
